YourTuner is a guitar tuner built to be fast and exact. It listens through the microphone, works out the pitch to a fraction of a cent, and shows you on a picture of a headstock which peg to turn and how far.
HOW IT WORKS • Play a string: the tuner names it, the marker slides along the scale, and the words tell you whether to tighten or loosen. • Tap a peg to hear the reference note for that string. • A string counts as in tune within 3 cents, closer than the ear can tell. The exact number stays on screen for perfectionists. • All at once: strum, and every peg becomes a dial showing its own string.
PRECISION The engine measures every partial of the note, fits the inharmonicity of the string and refines the pitch from the phase trend of the signal, the way strobe tuners do. On a steady note the reading holds still to a few hundredths of a cent.
